the project delivery assessment

The problem

Many organizations reach a point where project delivery becomes inconsistent, escalations increase, and leadership no longer has a clear view of delivery health. The issue is rarely individual performance—it’s that the delivery system hasn’t kept pace with growth.

How I help

Leveraging program and project management frameworks, I provide a clear, objective assessment of how implementation work enters the organization, moves through teams, and is governed—surfacing the constraints that limit predictability, scalability, and confidence in delivery.

Scope

  • Stakeholder interviews across Delivery, Implementation, Customer Success, Product, and Operations

  • Review of delivery artifacts, tooling, and reporting

  • Observation of delivery and executive forums (as applicable)

  • Duration: 4-6 weeks

Assessment Areas

  • Intake & prioritization

  • Ownership, handoffs, and flow

  • Governance and decision rights

  • Visibility, metrics, and tooling

Deliverables

  • Current-state delivery system map

  • Top constraints limiting scale and predictability

  • Risk and delivery maturity assessment

  • 90-day improvement roadmap

  • Clear recommendation on next steps (pilot, operating model build, or pause)

Outcome

  • Leadership gains a shared, fact-based understanding of what’s actually limiting delivery performance—and a concrete, prioritized path forward for action.

  • Teams avoid double documentation and consistently work to delivery the key objective.

This is for leaders who

  • Own implementation, delivery or customer outcomes who need a clear view of what's working and what isn't

  • Sense that delivery strain is systemic, not a people problem

  • Want to make informed decisions before adding headcount, changing scope or redesigning how work gets done
